Dr. Mark Machen is originally from Forrest City, Arkansas. He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas, and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern College of Optometry (SCO) in Memphis, TN.
He completed his retinal, corneal, cataract, and glaucoma eye disease externship training at the Memphis VA in downtown Memphis, TN. His primary care and contact lens externship training was conducted at Family Vision Care in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
He is an active member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and the Greater Atlanta Optometric Association.
His emphasis is on ocular disease, pre and post op surgery, contact lenses, and primary care. When he is not in the clinic, Dr. Machen enjoys the outdoors, fishing, playing golf and tennis, and watching his favorite collegiate and professional sports teams compete. Dr. Machen currently resides in Roswell.
Meet Alyssa Dicus, O.D.
Dr. Alyssa Dicus is a Louisiana native. She obtained her undergraduate in health sciences from Nicholls State University and went on to receive her doctorate of Optometry from The University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry. She completed her externships in primary care, ocular disease, and pediatric optometry in Birmingham, Alabama and Atlanta, Georgia.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association and Georgia Optometric Association.
Dr. Dicus’ emphasis is on pediatrics, primary care, and contact lenses.
She resides in Milton with her family.
